Why am I not seeing much availability on the online calendar?
Our online booking calendar shows limited massage appointment availability for four weeks to make sure that our members have priority access to book their monthly massages. If you don't see what you're looking for, please join the waitlist for any desired days and we will reach out to you if there is last-minute availability on your preferred day!
Note: If you have a Mood House gift card and do not see an appointment available online, feel free to text us for assistance booking.
What should I wear to my massage?
Whatever makes you feel comfortable! You can wear as much (think yoga clothes or undergarments) or as little as you’d like. Our therapists are experts in making sure you’re always covered with the sheet for privacy.
I have a gift card but noticed the prices have changed. Will the old prices be honored?
Yes! If you have a gift card designated for a 50-Minute or 80-Minute Signature Massage purchased before April 16, 2023, the former pricing will be honored for appointments made through June 1, 2023.
When should I arrive for my massage?
To ensure full hands-on massage time, please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment start time. For new clients, we recommend 15 minutes before your start time to fill out any needed forms and get settled in.
What should I wear for the infrared sauna?
Undergarments, a bathing suit or loose-fitting gym clothes are all common choices. It's fully private so you can undress to your comfort level. We recommend slip-on shoes! More infrared sauna FAQs. More Infrared Sauna FAQs.
Do you offer meditation classes?
Yes, sign up for our newsletter or follow us on Instagram for meditation event announcements. Our events offer guided meditation plus tangible techniques so you can continue to deepen your practice on your own.
Can I plan a team bonding, bridal, birthday or other group event at Mood House?
At this time, advance group booking is reserved as a member perk! Email email@example.com with your date(s) and requests and we will get back to you as quickly as possible.
Can I book a prenatal massage?
Yes, in the second or third trimester only. You can book the "prenatal" service or please let our front desk team know when booking via text or phone. We offer side-lying prenatal sessions supported by pillows and bolsters with light to firm pressure (no deep tissue). More Prenatal Massage FAQs.
What's your cancellation policy?
If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. If cancelling or rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment time, a 50% service fee will be charged. For a "no-show," the full service price will be charged or a massage credit (if available) will be redeemed. Note: Cancellation fees are waived if you need to reschedule due to COVID-related exposure or illness. Text or call 704-286-0906.
Do I have to be a member to visit Mood House?
No, but members do enjoy priority booking on our calendar for massage appointments. Our flexible Mood House memberships offer clients more value as well as other members-only benefits.
